Working in the Beroukhim Lab associated with the Broad Institute and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute under Postdoctoral Associate Simona Dalin

  • The lab focuses on developing computational approaches To interpret cancer genomes and comprehensive genomic characterization of brain cancers.

Lab Assistant, UH Manoa Plant Science Lab

Assists with daily operations and provides computer science consulting

  • Completes a variety of tasks required including: genomic work, plant tissue culture, caring for the greenhouses, R programming, and assistance with software. Currently working with convolutional neural networks and computer vision, building a model to identify coconut rhinoceros beetles in traps.

WYSE is an academic bowl competition. In Biology solo, I placed 1st at Regionals, roughly 4th at Sectionals, and roughly 10th at State.
